Manitou huddles with his mom, Kyla, as they alert on something down
the hill. He's not quite sure yet what to think about the snow, and mom
is very protective of his safety yet. Kyla has a scab on top of her head
from a fight with one of the rescues we had.
Kyla's mother, Kapu, was the first wolfdog I had. She was very low
percent, but was bred to a near-pure wolf named Zabo who was very tall.
